CSG Expands, Relocates New York City Office

Reflecting its strategic plan and enhancing its regional presence, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”) announced today that it has opened a new office in Manhattan at 11 Times Square, a 40-story, LEED Gold-certified office and retail tower developed, owned and managed by SJP Properties in partnership with Prudential Real Estate Investors.

CSG’s Manhattan office will establish a foothold for the firm as it looks to fully capitalize on its network of relationships in the city as well as its reputation, depth of experience and the day-to-day New York-based activity of many firm members – particularly those who focus on real estate, corporate transactions and commercial litigation.

“The opening of this new Manhattan office is an important milestone in our firm’s history,” said CSG member Frank Giantomasi. “11 Times Square will provide us with a beautifully designed and perfectly situated setting to serve our clients in New York and throughout the region.”

As Midtown Manhattan’s most advanced commercial building, 11 Times Square incorporates state-of-the-art technology and building systems to create an optimal work environment in one of the world’s leading transit hub locations. CSG’s new office boasts floor-to-ceiling glass, providing views of the Hudson River, Times Square and Midtown Manhattan.

“This is an ideal time in our firm’s evolution to invest in New York City,” said CSG’s managing member Daniel Schwartz. “The exceptional quality of our work has been known on both sides of the Hudson River for years and, because of that, we’re seeing increased demand from New York-based clients.”

While CSG’s origins are NJ-based, the firm has long represented clients from the New York metro area and the region. In April, CSG welcomed five members and a counsel to its growing team, who, together with other CSG attorneys, regularly meet client needs in New York. The addition of these lawyers helps the firm advance its strategic plan to expand its competitive reach while bolstering its existing strength in the areas of real estate, corporate transactions, commercial litigation, private equity and trusts and estates. Including these laterals, CSG has added 27 lawyers to its roster, bringing its total headcount above 140, representing six percent growth since the beginning of 2015.

CSG member Jeffrey Chiesa added, “CSG is committed to providing our clients with the highest level of legal talent and counsel. Our recent moves ensure that our people have the best resources available, including ideal physical spaces where we do business, as well as an expanded base of colleagues with whom we can collaborate and cross-leverage expertise.”

CSG member Armen Shahinian noted, “Our new 11 Times Square office will optimize our ability to serve our existing clients while developing new avenues of business.”
