CSG Law's Costello, Giantomasi, Toft and Vartan Named to ROI-NJ Influencers: Power List 2023 for Law
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is pleased to announce that Patricia K. Costello, Managing Member; Francis J. Giantomasi, a Member with the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group and CSG Law Executive Committee member; Dennis Toft, Chair of the Environmental Law Group; and Lee Vartan, a Member with the firm’s Litigation and White Collar Defense & Investigations Groups have been recognized among ROI-NJ’s Influencers: Power List 2023 for Law – a list of New Jersey’s most influential attorneys in private practice, public service, corporate law departments and nonprofit organizations.
Costello, who became CSG Law’s first female Managing Member last year, “is responsible for providing overall strategic direction and overseeing the day-to-day management of one of the state’s fastest growing and most dynamic firms,” the publication said.
Giantomasi, who was named to the Influencers list for Real Estate, has been a mainstay on various Power and Real Estate lists throughout the Garden State for many years. According to ROI-NJ, “One of the best-known lawyers in the state, he’s recognized as a leader in planning, zoning and development law, including tax abatement law for the city of Newark and urban areas.”
Dennis Toft, Chair of CSG Law’s Environmental Group, is “[one] of the state’s leading Brownfields redevelopment practitioners, [and] he played a key role in the adoption of the New Jersey Brownfields and Contaminated Site Remediation Act,” the publication said. Toft also serves on the board of trustees at New Jersey Institute of Technology and as a director at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
Lee Vartan, a Member of the firm with the Litigation and White Collar Defense & Investigations Group, was named to the list for litigation and cannabis. As ROI-NJ noted, “Always on the short list for top legal jobs in the state – and for good reason. He previously served, with praise, as a federal prosecutor in Newark, counsel to the governor and in the Attorney General’s Office.”
The list was selected by the editorial board of ROI-NJ based on opinions of business and government leaders, nominations and the publication’s editorial judgment.
